Heng Seng Noodles is a Cambodian-Teochew noodle restaurant in a strip mall in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey. It opened in May 2025.[1] It grew out of the family's longtime South Philadelphia restaurant, Heng Seng.[1][2]

History

The siblings Sarah, Annie and Lange of the Huong family opened the restaurant in May 2025.[1] Annie wanted to carry the family's Cambodian food into South Jersey and to run a restaurant of her own. Like the Philadelphia original, it was planned as a small restaurant honoring Cambodian culture and food.[3] When the plans were announced in 2024, its address was given as 1445 Brace Road, in the Hung Vuong Shopping Center where Brace Road meets Haddonfield-Berlin Road.[3] It shares the shopping center with Hung Vuong Food Market.[2] Two generations of the family run it together.[4]

Food

The menu covers noodles, rice dishes, appetizers and drinks.[1] The family names kuy teav as the dish that stands for its heritage. Its kuy teav Phnom Penh is an aromatic noodle soup often eaten for breakfast.[2][1] Every noodle dish comes either as a soup or dry, tossed in soy sauce with bone broth on the side. Thin rice noodles are standard, and wider rice noodles or egg noodles can be swapped in.[1]

Loc lac, a Cambodian beef stir-fry, comes with steamed white rice and a lime-juice dip. Other dishes include kaw ko, a beef stew served with bread; sate noodles, a spicy pork noodle soup; and Khmer coconut corn. Drinks include pandan coffee with coconut foam and Thai green tea.[1][4] As of 2026 the only dessert was pandan tiramisu.[1]

Visiting

As of 2026 the restaurant took reservations, could seat large parties . Diners bring their own alcohol.[1]
