Angkor Monastery
Angkor Monastery (វត្តអង្គរ, Wat Angkor) was listed as a Theravada Khmer Buddhist temple in Lowell, Massachusetts.[1][2] A 2026 directory of Khmer temples in the United States listed it under both its English name and its Khmer name.[1]
History
The temple's published address listings date from 2011 to 2019. They placed it at 205 Billerica Street, Lowell, MA 01852, with the cell phone number 978-398-4243.[1] The 2026 edition of the same directory, a statistical record of Cambodian Buddhist temples and monks in the United States, gave that address and number and listed one monk at the temple.[1]
A Khmer-speaking services directory for northeast Massachusetts listed Angkor Monastery at 39 Grove Street, Lowell, MA 01851, with the Venerable Mee Lem as its contact and the same telephone number.[3]
As of 2024, Angkor Monastery, also known as Wat Angkor, was registered as a 501(c)(3) religious organization in the Buddhism subcategory, with an IRS ruling date of December 2018 and a reported income range of $25,000 to $100,000.[2]
Religious life
The monastery offered Dharma teachings and meditation, open to all, and gave blessings on request. The services directory called it an active community member.[3]

Angkor Monastery led meditation groups at the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA).[3] Another Khmer Buddhist temple in Lowell, Wat Glory, stands at 24 Cambridge Street.[4]
