Wat


Watt Rattanak Raingsey (វត្តរតនរង្សី) is a Khmer Buddhist temple on NE 179th Street in Ridgefield, Washington.[1][2] It is the temple of the Khmer Buddhist Organization of Pacific Northwest, a nonprofit that has been tax-exempt since September 2016.[3]

History

Published address listings for the temple date from 2011 to 2019. The Khmer Buddhist Organization of Pacific Northwest files its tax returns under the name Watt Rattanak Raingsey, and donations to it are tax deductible.[3] Nearly all of its income comes from contributions. In 2025 it reported revenue of $220,717 and expenses of $233,719, and it paid no salaries.[3] As of 2026 the temple had two monks.[1]

The regional Cambodian community directory explicitly pairs this Wat and the Pacific Northwest organization at Ridgefield. Regional wording in the name does not by itself establish a multi-Wat network. ProPublica's IRS-derived listing gives the identifier and shows the organization under the name Watt Rattanak Raingsey.[3]
