Wat Samakki Tattanaram (Wat Tacoma Chas)
Wat Samakki Tattanaram (Wat Tacoma Chas) is a Cambodian Buddhist temple at 8208 McKinley Avenue East in East Tacoma, Washington.[1][2] Directories also list it as Wat Samakki Ratanaram and Wat Samaki Ratanaram.[2][3]
Community
The Khmer Language Arts and Culture Academy (KLACA) counts the temple, as Wat Samaki Ratanaram Buddhist Temple, among its community partners. The Khemarak Samaki Classical Group, a classical dance group that began at the temple, performs classical dance, folk dance and traditional plays at community events. Its dancers teach classical and folk dance to KLACA students.[1]
