Wat Munivongsa Khmer Krom Buddhist Cultural Center Of Wichita (វត្តមុនីវង្សា, Wat Munivongsa) is a Khmer Buddhist temple in Wichita, Kansas.[1] Its nonprofit's legal name is Khmer Krom Buddhist Cultural Center of Wichita Kansas Wat Munivongsa.[2][3]

History

Published address listings for the temple on South Minnie Avenue date from 2011 to 2019. The Internal Revenue Service recognized the temple as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization in August 2016 and classes it as a church.[3][4] The organization states its aims as teaching the ways of Buddhism, supporting the talents of individuals and publishing material on the community and Buddhism.[2]

In 2023 all of the temple's revenue came from contributions. In 2025 it reported revenue of $243,033 and net assets of $617,127.[3] In 2026 two monks lived at the temple.[1]
