History

Earlier published records placed the pagoda at 177 Grand Rue, 59310 Coutiches.

The association's registered aims are to protect and promote Buddhist culture and to help people learn to speak and write Khmer. It also sets out to teach Khmer ethics, culture and civilization and to offer meditation. It aims to give material help to elderly people without support and to bereaved families who cannot afford a ceremony, and to help organize ceremonies in the Khmer tradition. Its aims also include establishing a pagoda to serve as a gathering place for Buddhist ceremonies with monks and for learning the Khmer language.[1]
