Wat Angkorchum Cambodian Buddhist Temple វត្តខ្មែរ
Wat Angkorchum Cambodian Buddhist Temple វត្តខ្មែរ is a Theravada Khmer Buddhist temple on Kuykendahl Road in Houston, Texas, United States.[1] It is also known as Wat Angkorchum (វត្តអង្គរជុំ).[2]
History
The temple was founded in 2006 and received its IRS ruling as a tax-exempt religious organization in June 2006.[3][4] It is registered as a 501(c)(3) corporation under the name Wat Angkorchum Cambodian Buddist Temple, with the EIN 20-4753454. As a church, it is not required to file Form 990, and it reported no assets or income for 2012.[4][5]
Its published address listings date from 2011 to 2019. The 2014 directory of Khmer Buddhist temples listed Wat Angkorchum at 16720 N. Kuykendahl Road.[6] The 2026 directory gave the same address and telephone number and recorded two monks at the temple.[2]
