United Cambodian Development Association
The United Cambodian Development Association (UCDA) is a Cambodian American community organization in Federal Way, Washington, founded in 1997.[1] It is a member of the Cambodian American Community Council of Washington (CACCWA).[1][2]
History
A group of young Cambodian professionals and college students in Washington State founded UCDA.[1] It is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Washington State and with the IRS.[2] Its work covers education and health awareness in Cambodian American communities, the preservation of Cambodian culture and heritage, and humanitarian support for Cambodia. It also builds ties with other nonprofits across Washington State.[1][2]
