Thai Samnieng Jewelry is a family-owned Cambodian jewelry store in Cambodia Town in Long Beach, California.[1] Its owner is Madi Thai.[1]
History
In 2017 the store's cabinets of jewels were full and sparkling, but whole days and weeks could pass without a customer coming through the door.[1][2] "I'm not getting rich off of this," Thai said that year. "I make enough every month to pay bills and buy my family some things, and then it's gone."[1]
