Phnom Penh House is a family-owned Cambodian restaurant on Webster Street in Alameda, California, established in 1986.[1][2] It has been featured in Alameda Magazine and on the television program Check, Please! Bay Area.[3]

History

The restaurant began in Oakland and later moved to Alameda.[4] The family runs two locations: one in Alameda's Webster Business District and one in Oakland's Laurel Business District, on MacArthur Boulevard.[1][5]

Food

The menu centers on shared plates that combine smoky, salty and sweet flavors. One of them is traop ang, grilled eggplant topped with ground pork, shrimp and garlic.[4]

Visiting

The Oakland location is at 3912 MacArthur Boulevard.[5][6]
