PS Fast Food 168
PS Fast Food 168 is a family-run Cambodian restaurant on Anaheim Street in Cambodia Town, Long Beach, California.[1][2] It serves traditional Cambodian dishes alongside Chinese-Cambodian favorites.[1][3] Visit Long Beach lists its name as PS Fast Foods 168.[4]
History
The owner, Sivlang Poeng, opened the restaurant around 2021.[5] Sivlang Poeng and Phearin cook in the kitchen. They started it to share Cambodian food and culture with the Khmer community and their neighbors.[3][4] Poeng said in 2024 that working closely with customers had helped more people find the restaurant.[5]
PS Fast Food 168 joined Long Beach Cambodian Restaurant Week for the first time from June 2 to 9, 2024.[5] It took part again in the fourth annual Restaurant Week, from May 17 to 24, 2026, when it served its oxtail and beef rib noodle soups with free cha kwai, Chinese fried breadsticks. That year it also appeared in a Restaurant Week segment on FOX LA's Good Day LA.[1][6] The restaurant is listed in the Midtown Business Improvement District directory of Long Beach.[7]
Food
The signature dish is the Special Oxtail Noodle Soup.[4] Its broth simmers for a full afternoon, and the soup comes with a crisp Chinese doughnut for dipping.[8][9] Other noodle soups are made with beef ribs, beef and beef balls, wontons, or seafood, and there are rice porridges with chicken or seafood.[9][10]
The sizzling beef is the kitchen's version of beef lok lak, served in a bubbling gravy.[3] It comes with a choice of hot sauces.[8] The stir-fries include lort cha beef, salt-and-pepper fish, honey cashew shrimp and dishes in Mekatang sauce.[9] The menu also has salt-and-pepper shrimp, hot wings with a house sweet-and-sour sauce, beef sticks, seafood fried rice and lucha noodles. Chicken high nam was added to the menu later.[3][2][1] Drinks include iced coconut pandan leaf tea and pandan soy milk.[1][8]
Visiting
Parking is limited behind the restaurant, and there is street parking nearby.[2] Diners on the Atly guide single out the shrimp fried rice.[2]
