Model from Long Beach who represented Cambodia at Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 and trained in Cambodian classical dance at the Khmer Arts Academy.

Mealyann Nita Saing is a model from Long Beach, California, who represented Cambodia at Miss Asia Pacific International 2025.[1][2] She trained in Cambodian classical dance at the Khmer Arts Academy.[1]

Cambodian classical dance

At 17, as a student at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Saing trained in Cambodian classical dance at the Khmer Arts Academy in Long Beach. The PBS series Learners profiled her dancing as an apsara, a celestial dancer.[1] In the episode she says that dancing makes her feel connected to Cambodia, clears her mind and builds her self-confidence.[1]

Pageants and modeling

Saing had worked as a model in Bangkok before her pageant career.[2] She was one of five candidates at the Miss Universe Cambodia 2024 final in Phnom Penh on August 29, 2024.[3]

In 2025 she was Cambodia's delegate at Miss Asia Pacific International. On September 25, 2025, she was presented at Okada Manila as one of the 42 official delegates, and she won the Miss Eventologie award at that press presentation.[4][5] An earthquake in Cebu disrupted the pageant. On October 2 Saing and the other delegates attended a grounding session, "Holding Space: Grounding After the Shaking," which she called a form of healing.[6] The pageant ended in Cebu, Philippines, on October 8, 2025. She placed in the Top 30 and won the Miss Cindyrella Drip special award.[7][8]
