Le Petit Cafe
Le Petit Cafe is a small, Khmer-owned family restaurant on Middlesex Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, at the edge of the city's Little Cambodia.[1][2] It has served Lowell for several decades.[1][3] The cafe has Muslim roots, and some of its dishes are halal.[1]
Food
The menu includes rice porridge, noodle soups, rice dishes and egg rolls.[3] A house specialty is kuytiev khaw-ko, a Khmer beef noodle soup, served with a freshly toasted, buttered baguette.[1][2] The owner is known for her homemade stuffed chicken wings and her lort cha, a Cambodian noodle dish.[1] The num pang pâté special is a baguette filled with cold cuts, chicken, homemade egg butter, liver pâté, cucumbers, fresh herbs and pickled carrots and papaya. Coffee comes with condensed milk.[2]
