City Donuts is a Cambodian-owned donut shop on Jefferson Boulevard in West Sacramento, California.[1] It is a small, simple neighborhood shop for a quick stop, serving an early breakfast of donuts, croissants, sandwiches, coffee and juice.[1]
Food
In 2016 CBS Sacramento wrote that the shop excelled at the classics, singling out its buttermilk and old-fashioned doughnuts, and called its doughnuts exceptionally fluffy. Larger doughnuts, such as bear claws, carried no extra charge, and each doughnut cost about 80 cents.[2] The donut case also holds glazed donuts, maple bars and apple fritters. Savory choices include ham-and-cheese and turkey-and-Swiss croissants and breakfast sandwiches, with coffee and fresh juice to drink.[1]
Visiting
In 2016 the shop was open Monday through Saturday from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.[2] A later listing gave its hours as 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day of the week.[1] Credit cards are accepted, with a minimum charge.[2]
