Cha-Ka Moan
Cha-Ka Moan is an open-air Cambodian food spot set in a backyard in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia.[1] It is run by aunties and is known for its stall at the Southeast Asian Market.[2]
Food
The cooks grill lemongrass-coated beef skewers, along with herb-stuffed chicken and peppery kwa-ko sausages. There is tangy papaya salad, and families stop in for a cup of Tirk Zero. The smoky food is made for sharing.[2][1] Stuffed wings are also on the menu.[3]
Press
The Infatuation included Cha-Ka Moan in its 2025 guide to Cambodian food in Philadelphia. Candis R. McLean reviewed it for the site on August 11, 2026, and called its stuffed wings and papaya salad "can't-miss."[2][1][3] The site has also listed it among Philadelphia spots for walk-ins, takeout and unusual dining.[4][5][6]
