Organization

The Cambodian American Association of Arkansas is a nonprofit community association in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was created to promote and carry on Khmer culture in the state.[1] It shares its address on Colonel Glenn Road with the Cambodian Mongkolvan Buddhist Temple.

Activities

On March 14, 2026, Samnang Lep, a founding board member of the association, joined a panel for teachers at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. The event, hosted by Arkansas NCTA, screened Meeting with Pol Pot, a film by Rithy Panh, and discussed how students can learn about the Khmer Rouge regime and its impact on Cambodia.[1][2][3]
