History

Brenda's Khmer Kitchen began as a food stand at local festivals. It widened its menu in response to what customers asked for, and it built a following on social media.[1] It still cooks at Houston events such as the Cherry Blossom Festival, Foodie Fest and Asian night markets, and it caters family celebrations, corporate events and other occasions with menus built around its signature dishes.[1]

Food

The signature dishes are BBQ skewers, pad thai and herb sausages, served with appetizers.[1] The kitchen also makes Cambodian sandwiches to order, with charcoal-grilled meats, homemade French butter and pâté, prepared by a chef trained in classic French cooking.[2] Reviewers praise the food and the friendly staff, especially the BBQ skewers and pad thai.[1]

Visiting

Meals are served at events or packed to take home.[1] The kitchen has also been located at 13250 FM 529, Suite F, in Houston.[2]
