Boromey Khmer is a Franco-Cambodian cultural association and media platform for Khmer culture, based in Triel-sur-Seine, France.[1] Its founders call it the first media outlet of the Khmer diaspora in France, and its coverage spans the past, present and future of Cambodian heritage.[2] It was founded to serve the Khmer community in France.[2]

Work

Boromey Khmer makes audiovisual content and holds events and community projects. Its work features the traditions, talents and life stories of the Cambodian diaspora.[1][2] Among its stated goals are passing Cambodian traditions, arts and values on to younger generations, supporting young people's expression and strengthening ties between generations.[1]

In the spring of 2026 Boromey Khmer planned stands at several Khmer New Year events across the Île-de-France region, and spoke about the meaning of the New Year for Cambodians in France.[3]

Organization

Boromey Khmer is a registered French nonprofit association, WALDEC number W783013142. Its registered purpose is to promote Cambodian culture in France and to strengthen ties within the Cambodian community of France.[4] It takes on volunteers through the JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr volunteering platform, under the causes of arts and culture for all, education for all and international cooperation.[1]
