Bayon Cafe (ហាងកាហ្វេបាយ័ន) was a Cambodian restaurant on Reservoir Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island.[1] Chef Bopha ran its kitchen.[1] It was listed as permanently closed as of September 28, 2026.

This listing is retained for historical reference and is not current visitor guidance. Retirement from the directory does not by itself establish closure.

Food

Nam Yaa soup was a spicy broth of curry, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves and garlic, served with or without ramen.[1][2] Grilled salmon fillet came with a sweet tamarind sauce, or with an optional curry sauce called Choo Chee. Natang was ground pork cooked with coconut milk and served with crunchy rice crackers for dipping.[1] Bayon Wings were tossed in a mild lemongrass sauce and topped with fresh jalapeños, and Tuk Tuk Noodles were flat noodles stir-fried with a choice of protein, vegetables, egg and a curry coconut sauce.[1][3]

Press

The Rhode Island food blog Fork in the Rhode reviewed the cafe in February 2017. It praised the dining room as simple and clean, the service as attentive and warm, and the prices as affordable.[1]
