Wat
Wat Preah Sangh Khmer Washington State
Wat Preah Sangh Khmer Washington State (វត្តព្រះសង្ឃខ្មែរ, Wat Preah Sangh Khmer) is a Khmer Buddhist temple on 68th Avenue South in Kent, Washington.[1][2] It is also known as Wat Kent and as the Cambodian Buddhist Monks Association of Washington State.[3][4]
History
In 2014 a national directory of Khmer temples listed the monks association at 3948 S. 239th Street in Kent, with the telephone number (206) 878-6845.[5] Later listings place the temple at 25331 68th Avenue South, where it held a Khmer New Year celebration on April 20, 2024.[2][4][3] In 2026 two monks were listed there.[1]
Community
The Khmer Language Arts and Culture Academy lists the temple among its community partners.[6]
Associations
Cambodian Buddhist Monks Association Of Washington State
(associated organization).[7]
Registration identifiers: EIN (United States): 30-0732082.
The historical directory explicitly pairs the Wat and the monks association at the Kent address. The charity profile supplies the association's identifier. The older published 206-878-6845 number is historical, not a tested current contact.
